While a new sniper forum is a good idea, blizzboards...

Snipers deserves its own forum. Having a forum for "all of blizzard" is a bad idea. Nobody will use it. The snipers community wants a large comprehensive forum for all of snipers.

IMO, the Sniper Community is becoming too small for it to have it's own forum now; I get on to snipe maybe once every 2-3 days. When more blizz games release people will want to post about them. Even if we did go back to the old sniper forum, we will eventually make topics for SC2 and its ums games, D3, WoW Cataclysm and any other game that's worth talking about, so whats the point?

With Blizzboards, we can invite Anyone who plays sc2, D3, or even Console games to the forum. This is only beneficial to the sniping community.

Yeah, with the extensive capabilities of the editor, I see the fan base of this game diminishing quickly with much more fun/competitive UMS games out there.

Actually, with sc2 coming, there will be a much larger sniper audience than ever, assuming the game can be made on sc2, and I think it can.

The people on here are snipers, the forum is moderated by snipers, and somebody really needs to make a snipers forum.

False, if you snipe maybe "every 2-3 days" then that's a regular thing that you do, and is an argument for a forum, not against it!

I played my first sc2 snipers game today and was pretty pleased.

The game is basically a ql contest.. so many of you may like it.

there are no glitches so you need much better team play.

I don't see snipers dying on sc2.. as i made a game today and it filled up pretty fast and a lot of ppl seemed to enjoy it

Its sc2...its new...people will play for a time.

the word "Sniper" is appealing, even if the people on SC2 Dont know what the UMS game from Brood war consists of.

Snipers dont even capture flags, They provide Overwatch.

Its a catchy name, kids think Real Life Snipers are cool, so in essence it draws people to join the game.

I can see what Ora is saying. He means that the sc2 "snipers" doesn't mean anything to the "randoms" that join. And It will remain nothing. the game will be just as small as it always was. So I can see why the new "snipers" shouldn't be given the name of a game we all love and will soon die to a crapy version of it's self.

^ i played snipers on sc1 for a while, then grew bored of it, but i will give it a try again in sc2,

wouldnt say nobody is willing to try it, or that it will diminish when a whole new generation of gamers is going to be introduced to starcraft in july.
