This forum is simply no better than the latter Sniper Forums in it's reprimands towards flamers. There is a designated "flaming" sub-forum, however, members are blatantly being allowed to flame and spam at almost every topic that I venture to. And on top of the lack of moderation for flaming, this constant babble that I am referring to is rarely even on-topic; it is simply the same old degradation of that ideal which this forum and Sniper Forums were created to uphold, which is an official gathering place for Snipers outside of Broodwar. Sniper Forums was simply brought to shit by this severe lack in moderation utilization, with slim to none to deter the average mouth from throwing it all askew and into chaotic keyboard wars of obscenities and filth. You're (the administration) allowing immature keyboard-warriors to ruin a good resource, again, by not dealing consequences where and when they should be dealt.

If I need to make a list of users, their infractions and so on, so be it. If not, this forum will be going to Hell in a hand-basket regardless with the amount of filth and slander that it is currently maintaining.

If we delete the flaming posts what's left is pretty much just me, Damein, Savor, and RedStealth talking about stuff that almost no one else cares about or understands... and most of the time Savor and I can't even do that without flaming each other. Oh, and I can't forget the mods trying to promote this site and telling you guys to, lol.

But we don't really do that here, just wait until Snipers 2 and maybe if there's a sizable userbase here it will be worth moderating the forums.

I agree with Epy. Every forum has their flame posts but our flaming is excessive and unrelenting at times. Being intrusive is a given at any forum; trolling is unavoidable but portraying others foully should not be tolerated.

Who ever uses these words towards another person, in a form of an insult, should be banned on the spot!

I suggest having one section dedicated to the more serious, whether it's real life discussion or something to do with the game, have that section strongly moderated, and leave the rest fairly lax. That way, the forum is still fun, as well as having a few people striving to improve the game.

If there is no tolerance for flaming and trolling and such, I guarantee many people won't come back here, including myself. I can contribute to a serious debate and all, but for the most part I come on here to crack jokes and be racist. Don't take away my baby.. DON'T!

We had a section called Serious Discussion in the last forum. Flaming would occur due to disagreement or if the debate became tedious. But for the most part people stayed on topic.

Now having a whole forum moderated like that would be a hassle for the mods and not very fun like you said. However, having comments like these

isn't very fun (or witty) either.

The serious discussion forum was for real life things, current events etc. I'm suggesting we have one for whatever, where there's no bullshit, and little to no tolerance on random flaming. Trying to police the whole forum seems foolish to me, because the idiots vastly out number the intelligent here, so it will hurt more than it helps, or it just won't work.. something like the old forum...
