Remember when snipers had like 7 clans?
Remember when we had 3-4 tournys a night?
Remember when the old forum was ACTIVE?


We need to find a new game, map, or something else to get us motivated, even if that means we have to LEARN A NEW MAP. We need to find something and become GREAT at it, like we did snipers.

Temple Siege? (Starcraft)
Helms deep? (Starcraft)
Counterstrike? (old)
Xbox360 Halo Reach?
PS3//Xbox360 COD Blackops Or MWF2

Lets branch off into some other RTS games?
Or ANY OTHER GAME, I'd like to see us all rally together and kick kids asses at games wherever we go.

I am currently playing Runescape classic, i strictly PlayerKill, and the game takes a certain type of skill *very similar to sniping* its a clicking game but ur skill is derived off ur ability to 'catch' ur enemy.
Combat is based off 3 rounds,(you must stay 3 rounds of combat before u can run) and if your character is built right you can kill your enemy within that 3 rounds of combat.
Game is very competative, lots of shit talk, and arguing about being the best. You can roll with clans, and it doesnt take long to level up ur characters.
this is a private server, with membership items UNLOCKED (so no paying for bonus content)

I've been addicted to this simple game for the same amount of time i've been addicted to Starcraft Snipers. Pking is so much fucking fun.

What linked us before was snipers in sc1. Not everyone has sc2 even now, and not many people still play sc1. That's why we're falling apart, is because when people sign onto this forum, there's nothing they want to discuss with anyone else. Nobody is going to come on here and talk to someone playing sc2 and say "yo I found so and so map hacking" or some gay shit like you guys normally did lol and as it seems with the various categories and topics currently existing, people are not open to new ideas.

What sucks is that we all met on the pc and we all have different consoles and interests in games... for something like this to work we all need to make a poll and list the games we find "competitive". Then start hosting random tournies (or something..?) for that/those game('s) to make it worth while. But even then I doubt we'll get enough people to even start anything.

That's my 2 cents.

I already vote for Halo: Reach... it can be very competitive but a few would have to make the transition to console gaming.

Halo: Reach will be the easiest game to host Tournies, view Leaderboards and make Leagues (apart from the built in skill system it already has.) Plus it will be unhackable for a long time (able to view replays will get rid of almost any hack).

The game also have a plethora of fun game modes like zombies, dodge ball, race maps, etc. as well as its diverse map creation tool.

I really hope we get something going here... or we can just wait a year until b.net 2.0 gets revamped, since that's the only thing we all have in common...

Halo 2's clan feature was awesome, rivaling that of b.net. The clan I was in had ranks via emblem (army ranks in this case) and they also helped you train; I was in a type of boot camp when I first joined. Its silly as hell but it was fun, and worth it at times. I remember a few other people and myself in the clan had to crouch along the map Coagulation (blood gultch). After wards we started to learn terminology like "Elbow" on Lockout as well as spawning points. The best part about it was that I was assigned to a division which was either swat or snipers. I forgot which I was in; I think it was snipers since that's how I got in the clan to begin with.

Making a clan on Reach or the console in general can be very manageable and competitive like Snipers, but a more diverse way to game. I see no reason why 3od or any other clan from Starcraft can't start this console integration.

When i get xbox again i will be playing reach ALOT, That game reminds me of halo 2 and i fucken raped on halo 2, it was my fav halo by far <3 (multiplayer)

False, standbying is back in Reach as far as I can tell. I've already been standby'd. and idk about competitive Halo. I can't do competitive haha ;/

I can't spend so much time on games anymore. You know what used to happen? I would go online, a few friends would be on, and we would play a variety of games, each more fun than the last, for hours until everyone dispersed. I've only been able to do that in the past year with the likes of Etra or Tarter honestly. All my real life friends only want to melee in sc2 lol and without the chat channels it's harder to meet up with old friends.

If were playing each other, whether it be 2v2 or 4v4, standbying won't really be an issue in private games because,

1: We will know who has it by watching the replay + leaderboards.
2: It will be no different than treating a hacker in SC; bad rep, peeps wont play with him, etc.
