Rambling..

First off I bought SC2. The campaign is awesome, and even comes in at different difficulty levels which is nice. They also implemented some challenges (like micro) which I'm doing right now. As for the UMS games I've never played one yet, not sure which ones to tackle. All I know is that SC2 Snipers is non-existent. Since games are located by a 'popularity' system it's ranked way low so you have to search for a while, and I've never even seen anyone playing. I created an AI (I wish you could vs them, but they just sit there and die) so I could check out the map. Overall it's a completely different game from SC1 snipers partly due to the map-makers partly due to the fact SC2 functions different than SC1.

Second off I joined the sc2snipers forum, I heard them call us "elitist" or basically holier than thou. Which I guess is an accurate portrayal, but that's because we ARE the best. No person who is randomly starting to play the game can compete with us who have been playing several years (some of us 10). It's not fun to make a game and compete against players who don't know what they're doing. This is why everyone who plays is basically known and why we don't get any new members. I guess they will be trying to get new members, but that's fine considering the map creator never played a game himself so it will be easier to "fit in" and he'll have a lot more patience. To be honest I don't see SC2 Snipers really catching on any time in the near future. It's basically an SC1 game.

SC1 Snipers, however, is also dieing out. With many of the top players being rarely active, the forums not panning out how we thought they would, and the interest level being almost non-existent it's hard to get a game on there too. This game is pretty much over, but I still like to play once in a while when I can. Is ANYONE at all interested in getting a tourny going? Also note to the list above those are the most well known players I've come across recently, but I do see a number of either smurf or newer players who are 'average' but any 2 of the aforementioned can beat them no problem. In summary: It's not fun playing people who don't put up a challenge.

I would LOVE for a "reunion" tournament to take place, would be nice if everyone took a couple of hours and play like good times. Drop off your fucking consoles for a bit and we'll have some fun ;P even if alot of us have lost skill we still destroy any noobs lol so some competition... yeahh!

It's too bad SC2Snipers is failing atm if it's like Jeff says it, hopefully they make more adjustments without changing the game or making it "paintball" style ;/. Anyway I can't even play SC2 atm so noneofmabusiness

Well I finally got a SC2 snipers game yesterday. Played two 3v3 one 4v4 and a 2v2. No hs/nl etc. leads to alot of luring and some sitting. it was okay, but still needs some improvements. i guess right when the map starts to get popular they reset the popularity system so thats why it keeps falling

I thought that was kind of cool haha that we are viewed in that way. Kind of humbling, ya know? We've done this so much... we can look back and say we are the best at this. Nobody else can top us haha kinda brings a sense of unity among all the flames and hacking accusations.
