Yeah, I remember l2aNgE (Travis), damn damn good sniper. Still talk to him today. Very underrated. That is a pretty crazy coincidence, man.

I haven't played SC2 snipers, myself. Some like it, some don't. Either way, snipers pretty dead on both SC and SC2. We might have to check it out, though, could be fun.

I don't know if you ever played Laser Tag, it was a snipers spin-off launched in 2004 by a sniper named BLuE'MaRiNe. It was a fun game until his version got replaced. I always thought Laser Tag would be way better on SC2 than snipers would have been.

A few old snipers you may remember still play. From original SC:

Haha, yeah I think travis has sc2, but i'm not 100% sure. In any case, I directed him to the forums so maybe you guys can connect haha. Most of those names you listed seem really familiar, but the only one I really remember was PiCkMePlz. Why did I also remember that it was a she? Please correct me if i"m wrong. Maybe I just got seriously trolled.

Yeah, I also haven't played Laser Tag. The name actually does sound somewhat familiar, but I don't think I ever tried it. What's different between it and snipers?

Moving onto life a little bit, what has been going on with you? How's everything in the real world?

Yeah, PiCkMePlz is a girl, she's Dj.TeC's and pEps[i]'s sister. pEpS[i] quit in 2003 sometime, and Dj.TeC hasn't been active since like 2006 or 2007.

Laser Tag was sort of like snipers in the upgrades era, except more balanced. The original Ltag was east vs. west, and you could choose a ghost, marine, or zergling as your main unit. Heroes were awarded at a certain number of kills, but in the later versions, you could purchase heroes at will. Very fun game. The MILES version is what's popular today, but I dislike it. BLuE'MaRiNe's map is the best.

I'm at college right now, ending junior year. It's been one hell of a year, I'm trying to make the most out of it. Hopefully afterwards, I'll be able to get a job, but to me, getting out there is some mad scary business. Not sure if I want to go to graduate school or not though... but now is the time to decide or not.

Decisions, decisions and I'm such an indecisive guy. What kind of job do you do? You got any advice on which path I should take?

and back to the topic of SC: I remember Dj.TeC quite well actually. I used to snipe with him all the time. The name peps[i] sounds familiar as well. I didn't know all of them were related. That's insane.

Lol, you're asking the wrong guy for career advice, my man. I'm just a dishwasher/prep cook, and I'm about to take a second job at a retail shop.

Yeah, they were all related, and all pretty good snipers. What's even weirder is that I've met like eight snipers in my time playing who were from Arkansas. Arkansas is a pretty podunk state with a low population, and snipers at it's zenith was probably only like a thousand players or less across all four servers both SC and BW. So finding eight people near me was kind of cool.

Clan tJE leader was Edge aka Strider and kyle aka EmpireS.

Clan xT leader was not xT-Leader it was xT-Fresh aka me and xT-Doldrive
and it meant Xpert Taggers

The original Clan tJE was made by CiViC and myself in 2004. It was tJE-Name, and later tagless. The remake was EdGe's and StormS' (one of CiViC's main partners) doing.


My bad for xT, though. You could understand how I would think someone named xT-Leader was the founder of the clan :-P
