So.. I've decided to create a anti-hack like system that anyone on any computer could use...


Instead of recording, I will make a program to run a series of diagnostics that will scan the computer and any hack related programs running will be detected and this diagnostic will be saved to an encrypted file and the user will need to upload it/send it to me or someone I designate that can decrypt it and review it. All that would be required is you to run the program and then press a key I designate (Like F2 or something) and then at the end of the game press it again.

If I get enough support I will do this.. but there is no reason to at the moment, since I doubt many people host enough tournaments or leagues to make it big.

(I might also be able to make it automatically do the uploading etc. etc. not sure yet)

You can only scan based on filename, its not very efficient.

scan by file size, and savor, some people might not change the names on all files. And some files cant be changed otherwise the program wont work

I support. Just don't take as long as savor did.. "95%" for a couple years now, and solar hasn't release anything for 2 months despite of saying he's "almost finish"

File size doesnt work either. Anyone can just use a hex editor and place blank bits into a file to increase its size.

And for any hack that is injectable, changing the file name and increasing the size WILL work to bypass both checks. The only way to possibly stand a chance would be using a loader.

I don't spend my spare time making scripts/hacks/anti's or whatever. I know at least several people that have this knowledge without me even telling them. What's to stop them from hex editing it? Am I the only person in the world with this knowledge? Hell no. I am saving damien time from releasing something and then having it get bypassed within a matter of seconds and then get ridiculed for creating such a poor program.

Stop trying to act like the community is retarded and give them some credit Steve. And as far as 95% map completion, that actually lasted for a month until I gave up, so quit trying to make it like I am still making this map, dumbass.
