There's no secret that we're fading. Unfortunate though it is, I'd like to take this chance to see what everyone's contribution to snipers is. Flaming is strictly not allowed in this topic, and a degree of seriousness and maturity must apply.

The idea for this topic came to me yesterday when I was talking to Dennis (aka ToFu) on msn. So here goes.

-I was probably the second person to discover the SHS (to WooD). Completely accidental due to my laziness and unwillingness to relock when I got to where I needed to be to shoot (left mid) and I lost vision so fast, yet I still shot. Titled the replay "LOL UBER HACKSHOT" or something along those lines.

-I was the original Tealage (original as the first). My name was like T]e[a]l[a]g[E or some gay shit lmao but I was that a LOOOONG time ago on west. I think I got sick of one of my names or something so I changed it frequently and that name came up because I loved teal.

-I was the first one to shift flag. Don't even question me on this, I know most of you would be like "WTF CAMP" so many times and I would be forced to say I shift flagged. It began to catch on after.

-There was a period where the hot team sniper would start by going to that mid left pocket area thing in the beginning. I started that lol but it died out later.

-Most of you know who Lilley or LeT are. I actually take credit for her ability to snipe. Any time she needed help, she asked me and what I would do in those situations. Her playing style is very similar to mine (although she is a bit more aggressive and likes to engage the enemy more often than I do) and I felt she has been one of the better snipers.

This is all of the contributions I have made that I can think of. Share and be respectful. Hopefully this can be one of the more active topics.

S-Lock,+ Dance Lock, After flingz and Flipz quit I took Slock+DanceLock to a whole new level, combining it with other techniques.
I also brought competitiveness to this game.

Good joke of a topic. The people who have actually seriously contributed positively to snipers can be counted on one hand. The rest may have trained a friend or two, led a clan, or been a good sniper, but the amount of shit they've talked and potential players they've turned away easily outweighs whatever tiny contributions they may have made. With very very few exceptions, this is the vast majority of snipers for the past five plus years.

Mav - Leagues
X - Forums and centralization of community
Klit - Trying to spread knowledge and help new players
blackops/ForeShadow/other early ES members - expanding the strategy behind the game, tournaments, clan wars
Twip-/Consumed. - Map that fixed dozens of bugs, improved code, added anti-hack and other new features

Every one of those people could have done what they did better, but I respect the attempts and what they did actually accomplish. I don't think I'd put myself up there, simply because locks ruined the game for most intelligent snipers, thus leaving us with the terrible community that we have today. That is my main "contribution" and I'd take it back in a heartbeat.

rofl, it started as a joke then you make a complete joke out of yourself. Being the first means being original. you were not the "first" TeaLaGe because you have "T]e[a]l[a]g[E". How is being the "original as the first" has to do with contributions? you're just leeching off of my history.

1. I created the whole "speed hack-shots". You can even say i changed the way we all SHS/HS. I taught people how to do it fast/effective. My entire game could consist of me shooting you through every pillar if i wanted to.

2. I taught people how to QL faster by teaching them how to adjust their snipers on their screen.

3. Remember that " I see you, but you don't in the middle of nowhere?" that was me.

4. Auto flag home? no you weren't the first one. Don't flatter yourself.

5. Box all 3 rses? That was all me. I'm the only one who was capable of doing it perfectly. All you kids only box halfsies.

6. Brought in numerous players, even made some of them top players directly/indirectly.

7. One of the few against the use of maphack/ping/auto, and never gave them another chance. Yet everyone else is so forgiving and "adds/talk" to them till they do it again. I would never have to resort to do anything that i would regret, if some idiots would ban the hackers like oragami/angel etc from getting the spotlight. This kid thinks he's so good now, back then he's doesn't even talk back like a good little girl.

5. I got almost every one of you to cry sits even though I was never near my base. Then you kids started to do the "same" by pulling back half a mile to kill the person who killed your partner.

6. If you haven't figure it out yet, I was one of the first to zigzag your face all over snipers ghosty.

7. I put competition in every game that i played, I never leave early. Great sportmanshiplike comes when nobody starts shit. Yet idiots like oragami always seem to open his mouth everytime he wins lucky games out of hundreds... I took the game as serious as it should be in a game. Outside of that? All different.

8. My wins, a record of over 5000, Almost 3000 alone dating back 08. Is that enough competition for you? It also put kids like oragami in line when they started shit talking. I don't have to pull it out again do i oragami?

9. you argue about being the "original as the first". Let me tell you something. I'm the first and there will be no others like me. Don't use my name as a contribution. You didn't do shit with that name.

I still laugh at the day oragami was the one of shittest player on battlenet, and now proclaims himself good when most of the good players are gone. Call it the best luck ever.

I have not really contributed anything but persistence. I have stuck by this game since it's creation and have been here to watch it evolve into what it is now. I can also count the number of times I have shit talked someone on one hand. That's about it. I'm done. It's dead. Moving on in life. Was a great run.

Before yah you probably beat me, I wasnt that great, but ive always improved my skills, and its the present that matters, I own you tealage, get over yourself man.

Your like gum on the bottom of Snipers shoes, more of a nuisance than anything else.

I dont even consider you good anymore to be honest.
You do nothing that stands out, your like a smidgen above average.
