Wall Glitches - by LaZ
I noticed while playing that a lot of people don't know wall glitches, or they think they do, but they don't know where it glitches or how to get into it. I was bored, so I went and took some SSes of snipers in glitches, and numbered them. I'm going to explain what area each one glitches, if its a very useful glitch or not, when it should/can be used, and how to beat the glitch when it isn't you that is using it.
Thanks to DaMeiN for the map I SSed from :\
Note: Only the numbered snipers are in glitches, the red sniper is not in any glitch intentionally.
It says 'USUALLY A ***** GLITCH' because sides can seem to swap temporarily when someone is flagging, and the side that doesn't usually use it is able to.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Picture 1: Lower part of mid

1.This glitches people above it to the left and right. To beat this, come from the right side and start going down to the blind above where sniper #2 is standing, and you will be able to see them and they won't be able to see you. Good glitch against NLs. -USUALLY A COLD GLITCH-
2. Exactly the same as #1, but I find #1 much more useful, as people go down mid more frequently than right, and you can shoot them without having to move out the glitch or them getting vision of you before they die, which could let their partner kill you. -USUALLY A COLD GLITCH-
3. Glitches people to the left of the place #4 is standing at. Not a very useful glitch, as #4 does exactly the same and more. -USUALLY A COLD GLITCH-
4. Glitches everyone below and to the left of it, and everyone above and to the left of it. Definitely one of the most useful glitches in the game, it can be used to stop an NL or kill a flagger very easily. To beat this glitch, you can either go to where #7 is standing, and try to QL it, or go into the glitch above and to the right of where #2 is, and NL (glitch shown in later picture). You can also glitch the pillar that is located below the glitch (off picture) -EITHER SIDE-
5. Glitches people from the glitch to the area between #8 and a little left of #10. Not a very good one, but you can go in it if you're expecting someone from the glitch to the right of #2. If you're NLd from above, don't go into #5. You can use the tiny amount of extra vis to give yourself an extra two seconds to lock a sniper coming down the middle. -USUALLY A COLD GLITCH-
6. The same idea as #4, and it prevents them from coming to #7 and QLing you. Drawbacks are that you have much less time to kill someone locking from the glitch near #2, and you don't have vision where #3 glitches. -EITHER SIDE-
7. This is a useful glitch which can stop NLs coming from Cold. It can be used to QL glitch #4 quite easily. Also, if they come up from Cold and QL you, they will drift a little and you have an easy kill. To beat it, come from the right side of the pillar, or use glitch #2. -USUALLY A HOT GLITCH-
8. Glitches people above #11 and to the left. Very good NL stopper, and if they attempt to go right to blind, you can click to #10 and then lock, which results in a easy (but sexy) HS. -USUALLY A COLD GLITCH-
9. Glitches people above and to the left. Quite a hard glitch to get into, and shouldn't be attempted when being NL'd, as #8 is easier to get into and gives you more time to lock. To beat it, come from the right side or go all the way around the left side and come from below. This glitch isn't known by many people, and so it can be used to hide in if they see you around that area, as they won't expect you in there. -USUALLY A COLD GLITCH-
10. Glitches people above and to the left. Not recommended to block NLs, unless you trail beforehand, as you have very little time. Beat it in the same way as #9. -USUALLY A COLD GLITCH-
11.Glitches only the area where #10, #8, #1, and #2 are. Can be owned from above and below easily. Shouldn't be used unless you know that they are in #2 or to the right of it. It is good for NLs in that direction. -EITHER SIDE-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Picture 2: Below middle

1. Glitches above to the left and right. Very useful glitch which owns NLs. Easyto kill anyone coming from left, and easy to kill anyone going a little to the left from the middle. Use this regularly. The only problem is that it is quite hard to hit. -USUALLY COLD SIDE-
2. Glitches anyone to the left of an imaginary line going diagonally down to the left from the glitch. It is good for surprises. To beat it, be lucky and come from the middle :P Unless you know they are there, it is almost impossible to kill them from left. Good to use when you're Hot and Cold is flagging from left side. -EITHER SIDE-
3. Glitches above and to the right. If you go in quickly, #7 usually gets lured easily. To beat it, come from the left, or keep away from the person's vision, go below the glitch, and rush it. -USUALLY A COLD GLITCH-
4. Glitches anyone to the left of an imaginary line going diagonally down to the left from the glitch. Not very easy to get into. It should only really be used if you know they are coming from the left, as you don't have a chance if they come from mid or right side. -EITHER SIDE-
5. Exactly the same as #4, but slightly easier to get into. I recommend using this one. -EITHER SIDE-
6. Glitches anyone to the right of the wall where #7 is (you can't see #7) up until the left of an imaginary line going diagonally up to the right from the glitch. Has a small glitched area, and usually gets owned by NLs coming from any side. Not recommended unless you see them go into the glitched area.
7. See picture 1: #4
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Picture 3: Right Mid

1.A very useful glitch, it works against anything below and to the left of it (same type of glitch as picture 1: #4), and has vis up until an imaginary line going to the left from the glitch. It glitches almost all of the places in picture 1. This is usually used to either kill a flagger, or for the flagger to sit in (if they go right, usually), as it is a very safe place to be. Always watch out for this glitch when going down the middle, whether you are flagging or trying to kill flagger. To beat the glitch, you can go below, out of their sight, and come up to QL them when you’re to the right of the glitch. You can also go to kill from above, on the right side, or you can go down the middle, and right when you think they locked you, go into that indent in the wall above #4 in picture 1 and Dlock them. I find that method to be the easiest, and they usually don’t expect it. –EITHER SIDE-
2.Same type of glitch as picture 2: #3, it glitches all above and to the right of it. It is quite easy to beat, as you can just come from the left side or go below where #7 is. Mostly used when expecting someone to come from the right side, and even then #3 is much better. This should only really be used if they are coming from the right of you, from above where #7 is. –USUALLY A COLD GLITCH-
3.I love this glitch myself, as it is VERY useful against NLs when you’re cold and you flag and go right. Not many people know it, and they will usually NL right into you. This glitches above and to the left of itself. To beat it, you can go on the right side. There is no way to stay out of vision (unless you go all the way around the rock and come down), but you can either attempt to QL them, or go up and glitch on the wall that is similar to #1 and picture 1: #4. Going from mid works too. –EITHER SIDE-
4.Admittedly, this is pretty useless. It only glitches people in the area where #7 is. If they go lower, they can see you. This should be used if your partner is cliffing and you’re sure that they are sitting in #7. –A COLD GLITCH-
5.This is a bit more useful than #4. It glitches everyone below an imaginary line going right from #4. You can use it when they cliff and are going down and left after getting back down. To beat it, (if you’re cliffing) go straight up to #7, and then stick to the wall until you go around and then QL them. That usually works, but if it doesn’t, you can go above and to the right of the glitch and QL again, or basically come from any other direction. –A HOT GLITCH-
6.Useful if you’re flagging when cold and you’re sure you’ve been NLed. Another not so well known glitch, although DaMeiN tells everyone he sees… (fag!). You can use it when hot and you think you’ve been NLed, or you can sit there if you think they are going to come right. I use this regularly when flagging, but you have to make sure that they are going to come from below you, so if they’re on the left side when you’re flagging and going right, and you know that they are a long NL type, then don’t use the glitch, as they’ll come from the left of you and own you . –EITHER SIDE-
7.This one glitches everyone to the right of an imaginary line going diagonally up to the right of the glitch, up until anyone above an imaginary line going right from the glitch. This is only good if they’re cliffing and going down, and if they’re the type that doesn’t stay on cliff for very long, as the glitch can be seen from the part of the cliff that sticks out. If you think someone is in this glitch, and you’re cliffing, then go there and wait for your partner to NL, as it is very hard to stop anything else when inside this one. –A HOT GLITCH-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Picture 4: Mid Mid

1.This glitches anyone below an imaginary line going from the glitch and touching #3’s head, up until anyone above an imaginary line going from the glitch and touching #2’s head. If you think they are below #2 and in Picture 1: #4, then don’t go to this glitch while giving them an NL chance, as they will get vision of you. This can block NLs coming from Picture 1: #2 or anywhere around there, and can also be used to give you a few extra seconds to lock if they’re in Picture 1: #4 (or near there) and they don’t NL you. To beat it, NL from Picutre 1:#4, or come from above where #5 is, and attempt to QL them. I find this glitch very hard to get into, and so I don’t use it often, but other people can get into it easily, and it is quite a useful glitch. –EITHER SIDE-
2.This glitches above and to the left. This is a useless glitch to sit and wait in, as #3 and #5 do the same job and do it much better, but you can use it if you think someone is waiting at that spot at the end of the top of the mid ‘arm’, as some people do, waiting for a HS. I only use this glitch for that purpose, as it makes the HS much harder for them and you can kill them easily, and you have a lot of time, and you can even mc 5 times and get the kill. This can also be used if you’re flagging when cold and want to dodge the SHS most people set up to kill people that sit and wait in #3 or #5. –USUALLY A COLD GLITCH-
3.This one does the same thing as #5, and only should be used if you’re not very good at HSing and don’t want to try it, as the only thing it does is give you a bit more time to lock. Good vs. NLs. –USUALLY A COLD GLITCH-
4.Glitches people going in the right side of mid (in fact, you can see the vision you would get when you go in the glitch in that picture. Look at the vision near the right side of the middle). Gets owned by NLs coming from above, you’re much better off using #3 or #5 for that. You should use this if you know they are in there. Most people don’t expect a glitch there, so if you rush into the glitch they will usually not be able to shoot, and you can kill them. One mc, however, will result in your death if that happens. –USUALLY A COLD GLITCH-
5.Ahh, I love this glitch. You can use it every time you go mid. It glitches above and to the left. If they’re going in and out of the blind above it, you can easily double lock it and get the HS (which has resulted in me being called a hacker on numerous occasions :P). It kills any NL coming from the top half of the left side or the middle or the top half of the right side, but if they come from below you in any direction, you will die. Good glitch to use when flagging when Cold, unless you know that they are good SHSers. To beat it, come from below, SHS them, or, if they are going in and out of the glitch, HS them. There is no other way to do it.

Picture 5: Mid top

1.Glitches everything up until where the red sniper is, and below and to the right of it. It can be hard to get into, and a mess up will result in you either getting SHSed from above, or just NLed from the middle. It is a good spot to stance, so you can stance them if you miss. If you hit it, you basically can’t be killed unless you move out of it. It is good in that way, but it isn’t located in a very useful area. You can use it to kill a hot flagger easily. If you see someone go into it, you can either ignore them and go down a different route, or attempt to lure them into a partner/dlock. –EITHER SIDE-
2.Same idea as #1, but it isn’t invulnerable. It only glitches above and to the left of it, and people below can see you. This should only be used if you need to be closer to the blind above #3. –USUALLY A COLD GLITCH-
3.This glitches everyone to the left of an imaginary line going up from the wall edge, up until everyone to the right of an imaginary line going diagonally up to the left from the wall edge. Not many people know it, and it can be used to surprise people. –USUALLY A COLD GLITCH-
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Picture 6: Bottom left

1.Glitches everyone to the right of an imaginary line going diagonally down to the right from the glitch, up until the wall. Good to use when you’ve been NLed by multiple opponents, while you have the flag. To beat it, go to the left of that diagonal imaginary line and QL/NL, or come from above (risky). –A HOT GLITCH-
2.Glitches everyone above and to the right. Again, good to use for surprise, or to block multiple NLs. To beat it, come from the left, or go below the glitch. –EITHER SIDE-
3.Exactly the same as #2.
4.Glitches everyone to the right of an imaginary line going up from the glitch, up until and imaginary line going up from the left of the pillar to the right of the glitch. Good to use when cold, to stop NLs, or to surprise someone that you think is going to come from there. Not a well known glitch. –A COLD GLITCH-
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Picture 7: Left Right

1, 2, 3: All exactly the same, they all glitch anyone above and to the left of the glitch. It depends on how close you want to be to the blind to the left, and if you’re expecting an NL. #3 is the best to block NLs, as you have the most time, but it is hard to get into, and so is #1, so I recommend #2.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Picture 8: Left top

1, 3: Both are the as they both glitch anyone above and to the left, it just depends on how close you want to be to the pillar on the left, as that is usually what they are used to combat. #3 also glitches anyone NLing from above the lone bit of wall and to the right a little, so I would recommend #3. To beat it, come from the area above #4, or be on the right of the glitch and come down to QL, or just NL. –USUALLY A COLD GLITCH-
2. This glitches anyone on the right of an imaginary line going up from the wall edge, up until anyone on the right of an imaginary line going diagonally up to the right from the wall edge. Only really useful against NLs coming from directly above you, or for surprising them. To beat it, come from the right side of the lone wall, or try to lure him out. –USUALLY A COLD GLITCH-
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Picture 9: Left Top 2

1.Glitches anyone to the left of an imaginary line going diagonally up to the left from the left edge of the wall, up until anyone above an imaginary line going left from the glitch. If you rush into it, you can lure someone on the left of the pillar on the left. To beat it, go up the line going diagonally up to the left and NL, or go on the right and NL. Not a very useful glitch, but can be used sometimes, especially to own people who sit behind that pillar. –USUALLY A COLD GLITCH-
2.Glitches anyone to the right of an imaginary line going up from the right wall edge, up until anyone to the left of an imaginary line going diagonally up the right from the right wall edge. This is very useful against NLs, and as many people don’t know it, they can NL right into you if they think you have lost vision. –USUALLY A COLD GLITCH-
3.The same as #1, but for the opposite side. This is a little more useful, as more people go to the middle, and it is a good glitch to run into while you’re being chased from someone on the right of you. Beat it in the same way (but opposite sides) as #1. – USUALLY A COLD GLITCH-
4.I like this glitch, as not many people know it and they always NL into you, thinking you’ve lost vision. It glitches anyone to the right of an imaginary line going up from the right edge of the pillar up until anyone to the left of an imaginary line going diagonally up the right from the right pillar edge. It is good against NLs and can own anyone that decides to come down, hugging the wall above the pillar. To beat it, go on the left side of the pillar, or go on the right side of the imaginary line. –USUALLY A COLD GLITCH- (I just realized that this isn’t a wall glitch. LOL)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, there you have it. I didn’t do all of the glitches on the map, as most of them are completely useless and they’ll only be used once in a month of gaming. My favorite glitches out of each picture are…
Pic 1: #4, #7, #8.
Pic 2: #1, #2, #3, (#7).
Pic 3: #1, #3, #6.
Pic 4: #5.
Pic 5: #3.
Pic 6: #2.
Pic 7: #2.
Pic 8: #3, #4.
Pic 9: #2, #4.
My favorite glitches are: Picture 1 #8, Picture 2 #7, Picture 4 #5.

Thanks, I probably should've thought of that.

Objective? lol I think this would be a great addition to the Wiki since wall glitches ARE a major part of the game. And many new snipers will go to the Wiki to learn
