I'm not too sure what this was. I was in a lobby, waiting for people to join, and Batman joins the game. He says "Sniping has been outlawed" and he drops all of us, and I am currently ip banned.

although that does raise a good point, about the priv games. They don't always have to be competitive.. but instead of hosting public games we could make a channel that everyone goes to to find games haha with of course no banning and shit unless someone is being really gay. Like a social channel! not clan channels full of idles and bots

Yo how about if 3oD[SNiper] lends or loads Op Sniper? That's relevant... simple... What do you think SNiper? Etra or someone else you trust that would not abuse could 24/7 the account I am sure & potentially designate their own if you were to share it for this purpose.

P.S. I just got IP'd by "NO SNIPING!" in two different games. There's no way to determine the users name due to the spoof that comes with this drop hack, unless someone who has knowledge of hacks and anti-hacks has some idea to do so.

However, L)t-Leader (Inverted is his AKA, I believe) virtually admitted to me by using his real account name to drop us that he uses this program. I didn't save screenshot, so it's not proven. None the less, I did /whois and it was in fact him. That's only my word to go on, ofcourse.

It's pretty sad how small this game has gotten. One troll with a drophack can almost derail the notion of public gaming. I really hope SC2 snipers is going to work out.

ip checker. If they join your game, you get their ip. You compare to your list, and you will know who is hacking.

Drop hacks usually dont IP you, however there's this somewhat new drophack, which sends you 0x07UDP, 0x03UDP, and 0x01UDP packets over and over - which one causes you to lag and have trouble starting and people joining and also if the host stays long enough in game, that host will get IP'd because your client gets stuck trying to respond back to the spoofed person.
What you do to fix this is to close every slot when the spoofer comes in. Because when the spoofer sends you that 0x07 (which is the packet telling your client the username/stats etc), it trys to fill those open slots with that faked data. So if you have no slots open, you'll be fine. You get IP'd when you stay in the game to long, while that guy is initiating his attack on your IP.
So try and close all the slots if you see any spoofer just to be safe.

Well that is a preventive measure for getting IP-Banned. Technically if the guy leaves the attack on, you won't be able to start and will continue to have problems creating a game. Since the attack directly spams your IP, it will follow you around, until he or she decides to stop, or you change your IP.
Another way to prevent this is to make a private game.
