I originally wrote out a huge flame post on you hugo but now im editing it. range hack DOES exist, See falselights video. It draws Circles around ur unit showing the max range of the unit. Its essentially a maphack, because the circles show up through the fog of war.

Anyway, Rev has only beaten me one time that I can think of, it was by like 50 points when he was partnering that DaiLLeST smurf and the guy carried him. I don't see how two good players could really lose to him.
