Ghost's abilities give way to new techniques?
For those who haven't played the beta, the sniper has a new ability called:
Sniper Round (R key, 25 energy to use): a "Careful shot that does 45 damage and ignores armor"
The ghost's Sniper Round (SR) ability has a longer range than his regular shot and he has to take his aim before he fires. Once the ghost gets in his stance to fire the SR, he can shoot multiple times there-after in quick successions (shift + r lock multiple times or manual clicking) on the stationary target. The SR auto fire is twice as fast as his regular auto fire.
The sniper can also fire his regular round right after his SR, simulating a quick to no reload shot. You will have to R lock then A lock right after he shoots, not during or he will skip his SR shot. R lock + shift A lock will suffice but sometimes tricky to do when using multiple way points, you can't switch between R and A lock while holding down the shift key. Being able to pull this off (R lock+shift A) up close and personal in a real game will be difficult. I'm betting it'll be the shs of sc2.
And if we can find a way to modify the terrain to simulate glitching/foging, we may have a decent sniper game here.

There's still no angling evident, and snipers without angling is as boring as the dying game you've all been playing for the past few years.
If someone can conclusively find techniques, there might be a chance of a fan base, but you won't find any competitive players with a brain who will play something based on randomization or "who can click faster" when there are already games, even in SC2, that incorporate reflexes along with so much more.

Easy Like Your Mom.
Just from the sound of it, SC2 snipers won't be as fun as in SC. By the time I get SC2, I'll just be playing melee.

I just make it look too easy.
