Starcraft2 Beta: how to get it

So my friend got me the beta version on an usb drive.

the game is pretty cool, but VERY similar to the original.

the zip file is about 2gb large i may try and upload it to the downloads if wanted?
no battle.net play, but there is an AI crack that comes with it.

i dont play snipers myself but i play diablo II and i helped put this website together.

The beta is too large a file, it cannot be uploaded. I will try and load it up as separate parts later on.

When I run Starcraft 2, I get a loop where it keeps downloading the lastest patch. How is this fixed?

Its probably not a loop but multiple patches. It does 1 by 1 not straight to the latest.

I havn't bought a game in ages.. Last cpu game I bought was probably 3 years ago, last console games... when the WII first came out... I'll get SC2 though.
