Starcraft 2 Snipers Opinions

I'm curious as to how the Snipers Map gameplay is coming along, are the 'snipers' playing SC2 even playing the Snipers Map on SC2? The forum has been kinda..dead since the release of sc2, only thing being used is Information exchange.

Well, I haven't played it very much, but I played 4-5 games last night (all of which were fucking 4v4.. crazy!) and I have to say the map is growing on me. Yes, there's a ridiculous amount of room for improvement, but I was teamworking like crazy with a bunch of newbs who had never played before, it was a lot of fun.

Also, there's a lot of elements from old snipers that are missing, so if you aren't subject to change, then you won't enjoy it.

so far i find it boring, not sure what the real reason is...maybe im not a fan of 4v4's or 3v3's and find them way too easy...

i think no glitching/shifting makes it boring as well...that was my fav thing about snipers...

The map could use a little work. For example, going up mid you're like.. completely blind haha but the game is nice.
One thing I will complain about is we are going through that phase where a lot of people sit and it won't be frowned upon by anyone but us for a long time.

You must not play much then...Almost every game somebody sits in the base...or just sits.

In terms of sitting, it isn't as bad as i thought it would be. In a 3v3 or 4v4 game, at least 1 person per team would sit (at least in the games I played)

Well the players that just sit are the ones that haven't played much before and thats how they played. Back in the day when we first played snipers with trees.. all we did was sat. Thats why we teach the new people :0

I joined the Development team and I have been helping them make the map better.. fixing bugs and adding new features.

We are going to add some sick features in the future so don't give up on the game

I know this is under the guidelines of advertising but if you guys are curious on where we are at for development, bugs and such.. report them to the forums at SC2 Snipers • StarCraft 2 Snipers Community, this will make the map much better for everyone who is interested.

What I really dislike is how B.net has this stupid ass popular games list and no downloads folder lol. Cmon. Really LOL
But one thing that's cool about it is the game auto updates itself. While updating, the game will not be found lol

I dont see why we dont just Private VLAN Brood War Snipers, and Play SC2 for other games...? I'm sure you could even run both clients at the same time. =\ Alt Tab between games if u wanna snipe? Easy
