This new patch has added some stuff to custom games. I don't think it's being ruled by popularity anymore, although I haven't tried it yet, only read it. Anyone try it? Snipers? no ora spam plz LOL

Yeah there's a bunch of different filtering options that you can choose and you can add favourites. Anyone been sniping? It might give me some reason to go on sc2 other than when my friends ask me to 4v4 haha

Basically the popularity system showed only the most popular games at the top of the list. Maps people make are automatically updated to battle.net's database (if I understood correctly) and so people don't go through the entire list to look for snipers because only God knows where you would find it. I think there was a search function but it was garbage.

Yeah the popularity system was bogus, great maps would never be discovered because they were at the very bottom of the list or not on it at all. Maps almost had to be lucky enough to be sponsored by blizzard and be at the top of the page. There was no search function as far as I can recall, which is one of the main reasons that led me to believe Blizzard is retarded. But at least they fix their mistakes.
