I couldn't get addicted to that game if I tried. Really, MMOs in genral to me are overwhelming in the fact that the entire point of the game is to just be the best. Improve until it is impossible to improve. WoW has fucking eleven million (11,000,000) players. How can anyone be the best at that? If you DO become the best, it's for fucking six seconds at a time. And also, I really hate it's "jump through X amount of hoops" quest system. I quit after Lv11. You have to exert the amount of work of two full-time jobs to become in the top 50 percentile at that damn game. Who past the age of 17 really has that much time to emerse themselves in a video game?

Game is awesome. You can't fully experience the game til you are level 80. Don't be hating just cause you don't like it. There is a reason why there is so many players, because it is a great game. The object isn't to be the best, the main point of the game is to see how far up you can get, especially in arena. Once you get above 2400 rating, there really isn't a point anymore. And once you beat the boss who is the current end game content for that, say, 6 month period, there really isn't a point OTHER than helping all of your other fellow guild members get better gear. I enjoy this game alot, and in every aspect. BGs, PVE, PVP, leveling, its all fun.

I got this game when it first came out.. at first I really liked it but it got too repetitive and leveling took so long. I know they fixed it so you can level faster.. but still

Well, first of all, hating something because you don't like it is pretty much the most legitimate reason to hate something. And not being able to "fully experience" something until you're at the ass end is an idea that's not farfetched to say is stupid to lot of people.

That's the reason people like it, not because it's a good game. Proven scientific methods of reward/punishment (like rats working for the cheese) are the reason these games rope people into addictions that would make a smackhead cringe.

I play it every now and then but wouldn't say I was addicted to it. I got addicted to Phantasy Star Online back in the day though!

imo it's fun until you reach endgame content, not very fun grinding same things daily over and over

i like to go dungeons to get armor with badges of heroes and the drop things to raid i was a pally tank and the best rogue in town

I have a level 80 protection paladin, which is my main. I am the main tank for my guild. I also have a level 80 hunter who is my alt with a decent gear score. I play on Bloodhoof-Alliance so if anyone is on there holler at me.

I was very addicted to this game when wrath came out, legit rushed my human paladin to 80 in a few weeks; total game time was 7 days x hours.

I quit for a bit then got back on when Wrathful gear got released (had relentless and furious gear at that time). I quit again and haven't played since Feb.

PvP wise, I could beat anyone who had 500-600 gs higher than myself; the 600 or higher gs person were either a fire mage(they suck, I never met a good fire mage) or rogue.

My second spec is Holy; I was able to heal ICC trash with 1400 gs and was sadly top heals for that group (other healers had 1600+ gs).
